Antim Pag

ANTIM PAG, means the Final or the Last step.

This is embarked on a granite slab at the parade ground where the POP (Passing out Parade) of various prestigious academies like IMA, and NDA are held. After Gentlemen and lady candidates pass over the ANTIM PAG they officially become an officer in the Indian armed forces.

Before the year 2021, there used to be ‘ANTIM PAG’ or the last step, after the parade which symbolized the completion of the training. However, recently a new initiative has been started by MM Naravane, the current Chief of Army Staff (COAS) where the cadets step at the PEHLA KADAM which shows that it is the beginning of an adventurous life for the young officers.
